The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi has “quietly” met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Obi met with Obasanjo at the Anambra airport yesterday.
During the meeting, the LP flag bearer exchanged views with Obasanjo on the state of the nation.
In a tweet, Obi wrote: “I am very grateful for the quiet time with the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo at the Anambra airport yesterday.
“We exchanged views on the state of play and state of the nation. -PO”
Obasanjo is believed to be one of the prominent Nigerian leaders who backed Obi before the presidential election.
The former president was in Anambra State to celebrate Governor Charles Soludo’s one year in office.
