Governor-elect of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi has said his administration will be guided by the principles of justice, fairness and compassion.
Namadi stated this in his Eid el-Fitr message to the state, signed by the Director Press, Deputy Governor’s office, Ahmed Haruna.
He expressed his warmest greetings to the people of Jigawa State and prayed for Allah’s blessings of peace, happiness and prosperity in the state and Nigeria.
He said the month of Ramadan was a time of reflection, gratitude and renewal of faith and urged the Muslim ummah to maintain the good lessons they have learned.
Namadi reaffirmed his commitment to work with all the people of the State, irrespective of their political affiliations, to build a state that would be a pride to its people.
He also wished the people of the state a happy and blessed Eid al-Fitr celebration and prayed that Allah SWT would accept their worship and guide them on the path of righteousness.
